Finding Belly Dance in 2001 to help with her health she fell in love with the art form.
After moving to Saint Lucie County, Fl. in 2004, Apryl Grace started her journey in Belly Dance performing around Florida with Yvonne’s School of Dance.

Deciding to take it to a professional level, she started training with various schools around the United States. In 2010 she began teaching, in the many styles, in which she has been nationally certified.in Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard County, and now in Camden County Georgia.
With her unique style, Apryl Grace has earned the respect of Florida’s belly dance scene specializing in FCBD®Style Movement Dialect and Salimpour Format.
Apryl Grace is certified in FCBD®Style as developed by FatChanceBellyDance®. American Tribal Style aka ATS® GS, TT1, TT2, Sister Studio, and others.
FCBD® style/ ATS® is a modern style of belly dance created by Fat Chance Belly Dance director, Carolena Nericcio-Bohlman. American Tribal Style Belly Dance is clearly defined and documented with the primary characteristic being that of group improvisation. Tribal is generally performed in a group, often at community events such as festivals and parades, Renaissance Festivals with tribal dancers typically favoring a look provided by wide-legged pants gathered at the ankles (aka pantaloons), tops known as cholis, and full skirts.

She is also certified and still, a proud student of Suhaila Salimpour School based in California. Suhaila Salimpour is a 2nd generation master instructor and performer; she runs one of the most internationally recognized belly dance certification programs.

She is currently Suhaila Salimpour format level 1 and working towards Level 2. Additionally, she is certified in the Jamila Salimpour format Level 2 and working towards her Level 3.
